June 22, 2012

ROBERT NEAL GREENBERG, 57, of Simi Valley was suspended for one year, stayed, and was placed on two years of probation. The order took effect June 22, 2012.

Greenberg was sanctioned by the superior court in a dissolution case and was ordered to pay $800 in attorney fees and a $2,000 sanction to the defendant. He did not report the sanction to the State Bar until it was affirmed by the court of appeal.

Greenberg had been publicly reproved for misleading a judge and the sanctions were issued during the reproval period. He thus failed to comply with reproval conditions, which include complying with the provisions of the State Bar Act and the of Professional Conduct.

In mitigation, Greenberg cooperated with the bar’s investigation.
