September 17, 2009

MARK STEVEN STEIN [#173808], 42, of Camarillo was summarily disbarred Sept. 17, 2009, and was ordered to comply with rule 9.20.

Stein pleaded guilty in 2008 to two counts of grand theft and one count each of identity theft, forgery, second-degree commercial burglary, being under the influence of a controlled substance and transportation of a controlled substance.

He has been on interim suspension since July 17, 2008.

The convictions for grand theft and forgery meet the criteria for summary disbarment — they are felonies involving moral turpitude.
