December 30, 2017
Zollie S. Stringer III [#177758], 66, of Palo Alto, was disbarred effective Dec. 30, 2017, and ordered to notify his clients of the discipline and perform other obligations under rule 9.20 of the California Rules of Court. The State Bar Court found that Stringer did not participate in a State Bar disciplinary proceeding, his default was entered and the factual allegation against him was deemed admitted. The allegation concerned Stringer’s report under penalty of perjury to the State Bar that he had fully complied with his minimum continuing legal education requirements for the period of Feb. 1, 2011, to Jan. 31, 2014, when he knew or was grossly negligent in not knowing he had failed to complete the requirement for that period.
